Welcome to my portfolio! đź‘‹
My name is Ibraheem Zulkifli. I'm a Nigerian, He/him living in Lagos. Community serves as the canvas upon which I express my truest self. It is within the tapestry of connection, collaboration, and shared experiences that my journey finds its richest hues.
Here are some of the highlights:
My journey began as a cafe attendant in 2010, where I gained exposure to computer networking, sparking my interest in the field. Seeking formal education, I enrolled at Kwara State Polytechnic, graduating in 2014 ( Computer Science)
Shortly after, I joined Pristine Project Ltd., a renowned ed-tech company behind the robust educational app Zazu. Starting as an intern, I swiftly transitioned into a full-time role as a PHP developer. However, my marketing enthusiasm led me to volunteer for the marketing team, immersing myself in sales, marketing, and product promotion. Through this opportunity, I spearheaded successful campaigns, forged partnerships, and implemented the innovative city reps program, facilitating widespread Zazu card distribution across West Africa. I lead the marketing team for one year.
Following the startup's acquisition, I ventured into entrepreneurship, founding my digital agency, Sitemach. As an entrepreneur, I honed my web development and digital marketing skills, collaborating with clients to craft impactful online strategies and effective web solutions. In 2017, I joined MembersDrive as a Product Specialist and Community Lead, contributing to community growth and engagement while leveraging my product management and customer support expertise. Recognizing the significance of vibrant tech communities, I co-founded and led initiatives such as Kwarabuild—an immensely thriving community in Africa. Additionally, I played instrumental roles in global and local communities, including WP4Campus, which I founded, VMware User Group, Google Developers Group, ForLoop Ilorin, Ingressive Community, and Microsoft Student Community. We fostered knowledge sharing, mentorship, and innovation through collaboration with like-minded individuals.
In 2018-2019, I embarked on a contract role as a Technical Community Manager at Lotanchain, where I led the ICO community and community sales funnel. Continuing my professional journey, I joined Workforce Group in 2020 as a developer, further enhancing my technical skills. I currently lead Developer Community efforts at Prembly, engaging with a vibrant community of developers, and partners, fostering collaboration, and providing valuable resources.
These experiences have shaped me into a versatile professional with development, marketing, community building, and project management expertise. I am driven by a passion for leveraging technology to create a positive impact and drive product growth.
